User types

ProReports system has fixed user types. Every type has broad influence on actions that each user can perform in system. However, it doesn't translate to report rights.

Following user types are defined in the system:

  • Administrator - this user has highest level of rights. If there is more that one administrator, each of them is equal to other one:
  • Coordinator - administrative user with lower level of rights comparing to administrator. Coordinator can't see reports if he has not been granted with appropriate permissions from administrator. Coordinator can create new user (as long as new user isn't Administrator type), but he cannot see users that have been created by Administrator or any other Coordinator.
  • Manager - type of user, who can generate reports and create and show manager panels. When creating panels he uses list of reports prepared either by Coordinator or Administrator.
  • User - basic user of reporting system. He can generate reports that have been granted to him. He can create his own Sets of data (more on this can be found here).
